Impact of the crisis on education, schools and youth. Virtual Workshop: South Africa and the pandemic
In March, the South African government imposed one of the strictest lockdowns in the world. In attempting to curb the spread of COVID-19, policy makers around the world have the difficult task of balancing the positive health impacts of lockdowns against their economic costs, particularly the burden that lockdowns impose on low-income and food-insecure households.
